Can I still use tampons while using the cream yeast infection treatment?
The only reason I'm confused is because, well during the day all of the cream comes out so I have to wear a pad, and I've just gotten my period and I don't know if I still should use tampons or just use pads until my treatment is done. Like would it even make a difference?

Still itchy day after yeast infection treatment?
I had a yeast infection, a very itchy one. I took Monistat 1 last night before bed and used the external cream as well as instructed. Today I still have an itch down there Does this medicine work days after treatment & maybe u wont see the symptoms clear up right away? Seemes like it didnt do anything for me because of the itch but it was just last night I took the 1 day treatment. Any input?btw, it is a yeast infection as my ob gynp confirmed it.

I have had frequent yeast infections and I have tried the Monistat 7 day cream pack, but it clearly hasn't been strong enough. Don't tell me I need to go to the doctor please, I'm not going to result to that for quite awhile. A couple months ago I started having itching and minor pain in my vagina. I assumed it was a yeast infection because I've had them before. I bought an over the counter yeast infection remedy called " Nature's cure" which was like a pill to put up the vagina. I put it in before I went to bed then I woke up at about 3 AM in extreme pain. I had to use the bathroom but it wasn't really coming out and it hurt really bad. I also felt like I had a fever and I was very nauseous. The next day I went to the ER because I was in so much pain. They did a urinalysis and said it was a UTI so I started taking antibiotics but it wasn't really helping. So I went to a gynecologist and they found a blister and did a swab and blood test and diagnosed me with herpes type 1. I just started dating a new guy and had sex with him before this happened I assumed it was from him even though he never had symptoms. He finally got tested 2 months later and the test was negative even though I was having unprotected sex with him because I was on birth control. I just want to know why the pain got so bad after I put the nature's cure in and how my boyfriend at the time was tested negative

I purchased the one day treatment package the includes the vaginal cream and tablets that you take by mouth. The box says it clears most yeast infections. My yeast infection is mild, also. Just curious if it clears and about how long it takes to see improvement. Thanks

Last night I used the monistat cream applicator for the first time. I made sure it was very far up when I did it & then went to sleep I never got up, but i woke up with a lot of the medicine leaked. Is this normal? was it still effective? Why did this happen? was it yeast leaking?
Antibiotics/Diarrhea cause of possible yeast infection? Treatment?
About 3 weeks ago my sweat glands were infected. I went to the ER and was prescribed Clindamycin, Percocet, and Naproxen. I took those for 3 days before the Dr. switched me to Augmentin for 10 days. I went nearly 7 days without a BM and was getting really nervous, but figured it was the Percocet slowing down my gut.When I finally did have a BM it was diarrhea. The diarrhea persisted for at least a week, a couple times a day. I figured this was from the antibiotics. I stopped the Augmentin two days early because I couldn t take the diarrhea anymore. Two days later I had a soft, formed stool.In the meantime, I began spotting, which I have never done in my 10 years of menstruating. This made me incredibly nervous again, but I chalked it up to the antibiotics once again, and I started my period 2 days later. I ve since read having a YI can cause menstrual irregularities 2 days ago I noticed I had anal itching. It wasn t really bad, I just got the urge to go and wipe again. It s not constant, just a couple times an hour. And earlier when I had a BM, I noticed a drop of blood when I wiped. Then I noticed my vulva is sort of itchy and sore. Not my vagina, but the lips and the top. I thought this might be from my pad which was clean and dry b c I always use tampons , but I googled anal itching and think I ve got a yeast infection. Could it be? I have no discharge or odor. I m 22 years old, not sexually active, and have never had any gastric, urinary or reproductive issues.I m not sure what I should get. I thought about getting Monistat but like I said, it s not really itching inside or much of my front at all. It s mainly the anal itching that s bothering me. It s not unbearable, but it s certainly uncomfortable. Should I get antifungal cream or hydrocortisone cream? Apply both? Monistat? Preparation H? I m really confused. This has never happened to me before. Thanks for the help
