I had a yeast infection, and I used treatment and I thought everything was getting better and going away, but now it seems it might be coming back only after a few days because there is still that smell, and its still a little bit itchy.. Is it possible for these symptoms just to take longer to go away or is it coming back and should I get more treatment just to make sure? Also would it be okay to have sex during this time, because it seems to be almost gone?

I was diagnosed with a yeast infection by my gynecologist back in November, but it was very mild, so she gave me a prescription for some cream and told me to fill it only if I started to get symptoms. Well, for the past few weeks, TMI warning I was feeling somewhat itchy down there, I was getting some of that distinctive cottage cheese discharge, and I realized that I was drying out very quickly during sex, and that was making sex rather uncomfortable and somewhat painful. Over the past few days, the discharge became more copious, and this morning, when I woke up, it burned when I urinated, so my mother who is a P.A. wrote me a prescription for Diflucan, which I took this morning.My question is, I really haven't been itching or burning all that much I only have the discharge and the painful urination it only starts to hurt about halfway through . Is it common to have a yeast infection without intense itching and or burning?

on the box it says " do not use if you have never had a yeast infection diagnosed by a doctor" and this is the first yeast infection ive had so im asking is SHOULD I STILL USE IT??????
I have been having yeast infection symptoms for the past few months.?
Mainly just vaginal irritation. I have been to the doctor and have been tested for infections and STD's but all have come back negative. I changed my soap and detergent thinking maybe it was an allergic reaction but that still has not helped. Just wondering if anyone has ever had this problem or has any suggestions. Thanks.

so i have kinda a strong fishy smell, like i dont even feel comfortable wearing yoga pants like everyone else because im worried people can smell me. i have alot of discharge, and its white. i am itchy down there sometimes, but not extremely bad. im only 15 so im not telling my mom or going to the doctors, what does this sound like it is? btw im still a virgin.

I had unprotected sex a couple of months ago. However, there was very little penetration due to his erectile dysfunction. Anyway about a week and a half later I developed a yeast infection. I am in a foreign country where the washing machines for example do not cycle long enough. I also noticed that my symptoms of itchiness and discharge go away during my period but then come back shortly after it begins again. It is very difficult for me to go to the doctor now.. and i am currently running out of the 7 day treatment. What exactly are the symptoms of yeast infection? I get sticky,thick,white discharge, it doesn't exactly smell, it smells like normal discharge, and i have had it for awhile. And sometimes it itches, I've never really had a burn though. And it's a lot different then the discharge i get when i get " excited" So please help?
