Treating yeast infection?
So I think I might have a yeast infection. I already have antifungal cream clotrimazole cream usp because I've gotten ringworm from sports. And I wanna see if I can save a couple bucks from buying yeast infection creams. Would the one I already have work? Or is it necessary to buy the yeast cream?

Does monistat treat yeast infections effectively?
I believe I have a yeast infection, but I really would rather not go back to the doctor because I was just there the day before yesterday. I have almost all the symptoms. Has monistat done a good job for you?

I think I've been suffering from a yeast infection for about a month now. Around Oct. 3 I started having the abnormal discharge and burning sensation in my vagina when I Pee. However, October 12 I got my period and the burning sensation went away and obviously I couldn't tell whether there was still abnormal discharge until after it went off. I did read that menstruation helps pass bacteria out of the vagina don't really know if that's accurate . Anyway, after my period went off, I began to have full force itching in my vagina and on the outside, but no more burning sensation when i pee. The discharge had no odor and was white. Now it has an odor and is more yellowish. I need help with figuring this out. I was certain that this might be a yeast infection, but I don't know anymore. It might be Bacterial Vaginosis or Trich from what I been reading. The symptoms are pretty much the same for all 3. It is easy to say go to the doctor, but I don't have insurance so I don't know what to do.I tried using an antifungal cream but that made my itching worse and my vulva swelled. So I didn't even use it the full 7 days. I've tried the sitz bath with vinegar and salt. That helps temporarily. I've been taking acidophilus pills which has been helping alot with the itching, but still have it a little. I'm thinking of trying garlic vitamins and tea tree oil. I'm also going to buy some plain yogurt. I just want to know does anyone have any other suggestions regarding natural remedies. Thanks

What happens if you don't treat yeast infection?
like after couple months an year... or whatever.i found out i had yeast infection when i went to a clinic and she gave me the inserting thing i forgot what it was called and i used it for a week, but after a couple weeks the discharge came back, but a little bit, but i don't think it's gotten worse, but the discharge hasn't completely been gone.

Accidentally stopped treating yeast infection?
I'm on the 7 day Monistat, and I forgot to use the treatment last night. Everything feels worse this morning should I just continue tonight using the treatment and leave out a day, or call a doctor?

Plain yogurt to treat yeast infection- does it have to be sugar free?
I went to the store today to buy some cranberry pills to take twice daily and some plain nonfat active cultures yogurt. When I got home I saw that it said it had sugar in it... I think I know the answer, but will this still help my yeast infection if I just eat it? Please help

I've been reading up on natural ways to treat yeast infections, and read about eating and putting plain yogurt on your vagina. I had my doctor confirm that this is safe to do and does work. However, I read online that it has to be sugar free and plain, when I went to a whole foods store to buy some the clerk said there was no such thing as a sugar free yogurt, so I bought plain yogurt and it said on the container that it had the active live cultures. With sugar in the yogurt, will it only aid the yeast in growing if I use it down there even though there are cultures in it that are supposed to fight it off? Also, I really dislike the taste of it, so I added a little powder from my protein shake mix and it tastes amazing. Will doing that make the cultures not work?The Whole Foods clerk said there was no such thing as a sugar free yogurt though.

Question about canesten to treat yeast infection?
I have a yeast infection so I bought the 3 day insertable tabs treatment. The directions said to insert one tab into the vagina daily but preferably at night time. I was in so much discomfort that I had to insert it this morning. My question is...should I put the second one in tonight when I go to bed around midnight the first one was inserted around 9am or do I have to wait until tomorrow night? If I do that would be well over 24 hours between doses. I just really want it to be effective and not leak out like it sort of did today...Thanks ladies.

I've already used Monistat 1 last night without thinking and breastfed the baby twice... But I can swith to a bottle today if I have to. If I have to discontinue breastfeeding, how long I should wait to go back to breastfeeding?

I had a urinary tract infection, i went to the doctors and had a urine test and it showed that i had a urinary tract infection. the doctors gave me antibiotics which cleared up my infection fast but now i think i have a yeast infection and i want to get rid of it need help, what is the best over the counter medicine??? or home remedies????
