My vagina has been so itchy lately, so being concerned I got a mirror and took a look. There was just redness and kinda swollen more than likely from scratching at the opening, and a thick white discharge that didn't have a smell. I get my period in two days and I know the change in hormones can cause yeast infections, but I've never gotten one before.Also if it is a yeast infection, will diluting tea tree oil with water get rid of it? I don't have the money to go to the doctor at the moment due to the fact I'm a student.I'm a virgin so I've never had sex.And I guess the increase in body temperature due to upcoming period has made me sweat more, but I take a shower everyday.There's no dots or bumps or anything like that, just itching.

i apologize in advance if this is TMI, but i really need some advice. i feel mild and random jabs of pain during sexual activity and while i pee. and my vagina itches randomly, though not very badly. and there's an odd, watery, white, discharge. and there is also an odd smell, not unpleasant or fishy or anything, but not usual either. i've been trying home remedies for yeast infections yogurt, probiotics, etc. for about four days, and there is no noticeable difference. is my self diagnosis wrong?
