Can a guy with a skin yeast infection transfer it to my vagina?
I hooked up with a guy a few nights ago and I'm pretty sure he has a topical yeast infection on his lower stomach like jock itch . It was in a good location to be rubbed up against my clit during intercourse. Now my clit area is really itchy Could I have contracted the yeast infection?

i have a infection on my skin its horrible, its ichy, dry, and i been to the doctor but the lottion didnt work. i had to use vineger with water the lottion the doc. gave me it kinda only worked for a week , now its back she said its a funges in the skin yeast infection .can anyone help me please i hate it i could were a baithing suit. does anyone know of a cream ? can i get details on how does it work n wat will it help??
Skin yeast infection that comes back?!?!?
Since about 6 years ago, I have had a skin rash that mainly occurs on my back that comes back every 6 months or so. My dermatologist told me that it is the yeast in my skin and that some reactions happens with my skin that brings out the yeast. I always get this medicine from him that is 4 pills and I take 2 and sweat 1 1 2 hours later. I take the other 2 a week later and repeat the steps. This always makes it go away completely. I just want to know if anyone else has had this problem for a while and if they knew some way to make it stop for good. I don't think that it could be from something serious because it's been the same for 6 years with really no other serious symptoms. Can anyone give me any insight, is it just skin allergies. I am prone to have allergies a lot during the year. I just got bronchitis because of acute sinusitis that turned into bronchitis. Thanks
Skin yeast infection on my butt crack. help!?
I have had a skin yeast infection on my butt crack for about a month now. i've been using cream that the nurses told me to use, some anti fungal cream. the redness has somewhat gone down, it used to always be red, and now its a pinkish shade of red and its only red when i spread my cheeks to check on the infection. The infection is basically a line on my butt crack also leading to my anus. Just wanted to know if anyone had experience something like this, if so do you have any idea how long this will take to clear it? months? years? and even though its on my skin, should i still cut down on sugars?

my dog has yeast infection,hair loss and is ichy. has order from skin. seen vet did skin scraping found out he has yeast on skin blood work also has low thyroid.he is 11 years old fixed male.he is on shampoo called malaseb bath him once a week but the smell is back withen two days.does anyone know if they have anything to stop this order or if there in a leave on after bath to help with this problem and oder. vet cant seem to fix him yet. also i put him on a no grain dog food all natural to make sure he doesnt have problems with grains.any help please, feel so helpless for my poor dog. anyone ever had this problem. thank you.ps. he also is on soloxine for his low thyroid.

Info in Skin Yeast Infections?
Im a guy, im not overweight but i work out wen i can. I eat reasonably healthy and i drink either beer or spirits on the weekends. I think i may have a skin yeast infection and im not sure what caused it. At first i thought it was a ring worm or something and it appeared on my thigh next to my groin. But it started to spread onto my testicals and down my leg, it looks like a big red rash and its itchy. I think its just a skin yeast infection not a genital infection. Does anyone know what the problem may be?
Alt Med for Skin Yeast Infection?
I have a skin yeast infection under my breasts, in one under arm, the crease between my thighs and genital area luckily NOT in my vagina and the back of my knees.I know it is a yeast infection, it has been looked at numourous times by my doc.I just had a stem cell transplant over the summer. I am on about day 170. I am on immunosuppressants, and anit biotics, anti virals, and anit fungal as prophalactics. I am also on prednisone to control gvhd.The anti fungal I am on is vfend vorconozol . It is preventing an internal fungal infection, but doing nothing for the skin infection.I have been advised that diflucan would much better treat the infection, but they dont want to switch my anti fungal because diflucan is not as accurate at preventing internal infections, which could be lethal for me at this point.I am using lotrimin cream and rx nystatin powder under orders of my doc. However, due to the prednisone, my infection isnt healing like it should.My skin is raw, it hurts like hell. I am secreting nasty nasty ick and smell. I have to change clothes like 10 times a day.Does anyone have any alternatives that would help that is also safe for me to take?I love the first persons answer. I am going to ask my doc before I try simply because of my immuno suppressed state, but I love your idea.For the second person, I am not allowed to handle anything with live active yeast or cultures, that includes eating yogurt. This is due to to my immunocompromised state. I am on pretty hefty anti fungals preventing an internal infection, but if I were to eat yogurt I risk getting a yeast infection through out my entire digestive tract.
