Can frequently changing your birth control cause recurring yeast infections?
i have probably changed my birth control pill 2 or 3 times in the past 4 months...could this possibly be the reason that my yeast infections keep coming back? on my first birth control pill that i was on consistantly for 4 months..i only had 1 yeast infection and then i was fine. it seems like the minute i change the pill i have an infection once or twice every month.
I'm about to give up... please help. recurring yeast infections? :(?
I have absolutely had it.. this is my 3rd yeast infection since february and I have almost lost hope. I went to the gyno yesterday, and they found out that I have another yeast infection, and I immediately had a panic attack.I have taken all of the measures to avoid these. I wear cotton underwear or none at all, eat tons of yogurt and probiotics, I pee after sex, wipe the right way, I'm doing everything correctly. She prescribed me diflucan again which I have already used and said to take it every 3 days for a month, but I'm pretty sure this is not going to work. I went to another doctor today, and he told me to not take the last 7 pills of my birth control when my period should start and to just continue taking the white ones so that I don't have a period for 3 months. Then he told me to get monistat 7 and AZO yeast.I have been non stop crying and feeling hopeless because I have a serious boyfriend and I feel like this is not going to go away. I'm almost just considering eating yogurt for a month straight with nothing else but that and water. I'm at my witts end and losing my mind. I'm also afraid that I'm going to lose my boyfriend to this and have this infection forever. Somebody please help.
If a woman has recurring yeast infections, is it possible to pass it to her husband and he pass it back to her?

Has anyone got rid of recurring yeast infections, how?
I'm not even 18 yet and I seem to get yeast infections almost every month. The doctor told me to abide by the obvious rules to preventing yeast infections and I know all that.If anyone here has had recurring yeast infections for an extended period of time, how did you eventually get rid of them??
Is there a cure for recurring yeast infections?
I've been getting a yeast infection every month for the last 9 months I've been with my boyfriend for 9 months . I notice that I don't get it when I don't have intercourse with my boyfriend, like when I am on my period or when we don't because of an infection. I know that its not an std because I've checked before and after him. I also know it isn't diabetes because I've tested negative for that as well. I've stopped wearing tight underwear and honestly it almost seems like granny panties now, no offense to anyone , I've stopped wearing panty liners, stopped using tight clothing, I've cut out soda from my diet, I've cut down on my sugar intake, I shower after sex, and I have no idea why it keeps coming back. I'm on Implanon, which my doctor says this type of birth control has nothing to do with yeast. I've read that it could be because my first one I passed to him, and since then he's given it back. I just got my Diflucan pill, I actually have two. Should I have my boyfriend take the other one in case he has it too? I've also read that sex can cause the infection as well, is this true? He is a bit wider than any other person I've been with, so most of the time, I do get a little cut at the entrance of my vagina. He is also a fan of receiving oral then penetrating me, could this be a problem as well? I don't know what to do anymore, it ruins our sex lives and I'm starting to feel like I'm gonna have it for my entire life. I know about the yogurt, but it's hard to do that when every one in your house loves yogurt too. So I plan on being more strict on my diet and buying some Acidophilus pills. I don't want to insert any yogurt or any other substance into my vagina, is there any other remedies out there?I really hate the itch and discharge and the discomfort. Someone please help The doctors all tell me it all comes down to my diet, what else can I do???
What causes recurring yeast infections in babies?
Can recurring yeast infections in infant girls have an underlying medical condition behind them, or is it simply from not having a clean and dry bottom? What kind of medical conditions can cause this? To this date baby is 12 months there are no known medical conditions. She has been battling this on and off for over 6 months 2nd prescription for nystatin but the 2nd one came from the pediatrician when there was hardly any redness at her 12 month visit and I'm curious if there are medical conditions that can cause this. She overall seems to be healthy, however at the 12 month visit, the doctor found a swollen lymph node in the groin area not much redness and said there was an infection. 3 days later, she broke out in a super horrible rash. But, at the same time was found in a completly saturated, wet diaper.
Recurring yeast infection, or something else?
For the past 3 months I have had a pattern, well here's what happens. A little background info My husband is a Marine and for the last 5 months I have only seen him once a month for about a week each time. Well I saw him in October... a few days after he left I started having a milky, sometimes thick, cottage cheese like discharge, along with severe itching. I thought it was a yeast infection and was planning on going to the Dr but then I got my period and it went away. The next month I saw him again, and like the last time a few days after he left I got the same symptoms, and again it went away when I got my period. This past week the same thing happened, same circumstances. Now I'm assuming it will just go away on it's own again, but I am planning on seeing a Dr this time since it is obviously not normal. Could this be a yeast infection that keeps coming back because I am not treating it? Or are these signs of something else?

I have a recurring Yeast Infection?
It comes back just days after I've taken Fluconazole, which should be good enough to get rid of it for good. I thought maybe my boyfriend kept giving it back to me. He got checked and he has Tinea Versicolor above his junk. Could that be giving me back yeast infections? Are they related?
