Do I have herpes or yeast infection?
Ok, so I am wondering if I have genital herpes or intertrigo, a type of yeast infection. I am leaning towards and hoping it is intertrigo. I feel it is the yeast infection because it is a macerated, raw, and scaly like rash that is dry and moist at the same time. It was rather widespread from the top of my underwear line all the way down to the underside of my inner thigh, adjacent to my labia. In the skin fold I also have urine that appears cloudy at times which I have heard can happen with yeast. Anyways, the rash had defined red edges and a lighter color center. I didnt notice blistering but maybe raised skin color areas. I also experienced folliticus on front in pubic area, which is basically ingrown hairs. They can be popped and aren't painful. Ive heard thats from bacteria. My rash only really itches when I touch it from time to time and can hurt when i walk sometimes. The itch isnt in a generalized spot, more like all over. My vulva has been rather itchy too The itch is predominately in the middle of the night at like 2 am I have tried anti fungal cream which I have now heard isnt the best thing for it considering intertrigo can be bacterial and moist creams aggravate it. Keeping it dry is supposedly the best thing. The anti fungal cream helped relieve itch but didnt cure it. I dealt with this rash as though it was intertrigo hoping it isnt herpes. I developed this rash 2 weeks after having unprotected sex. I had been sleeping with him for 1 month and everything was fine, no signs of anything before. He told me he wasnt having sex with anyone else but with guys who knows. I had the rash for 4 weeks and it seemed to eventually clear up on its own. I tried to avoid eating yeast products when possible and loose clothes and only cotton underwear. The rash was moist and glossy and seemed to leave wet spots in my underwear which seemed yellowish. The reason I worry is because a few days before the rash cleared I developed 2 PAINLESS ulcers on the UPPER OUTER left side of my labia. I could touch them and they dont hurt. They look like little canker sores. Also I developed two cuts, or fissures as they call them on my upper outer labia. I have reseached and sites have said these are both common with herpes and intertrigo so im concerned. They occur from trauma to the area which could be from me scratching. Anyways I had no discharge besides normal clear to white WATERY discharge that I feel I have always gotten. Nothing thick or cottage cheese like. Anyways my rash cleared over a month ago and my vulva is still itchy at times and sometimes where the rash was. I have looked at pictures of both herpes and intertrigo and I get worried. The ulcers are the part that scare me but there was only 2 and they didnt hurt to touch and NOTHING, not the rash or these ulcers were near my vagina or anus or inner labia. SOMEONE PLSSS help I am making an appointment to see my doctor but there is no rash at this point. I know I shouldve went back when I had it but I am just so nervous Please give me your honest opinion on what you think it could be Once again a widespread rash with raised red edges in my left skin fold. ONLY LEFT SKIN FOLD NOT RIGHT although further into the weeks I felt like it looked like it may be trying to spread to the right but didnt THANKSSS SO MUCH serious answers only are greatly appreciated

I have been checked for all STDs except for herpes. I have never had an outbreak, as far as I know, but I hear sometimes there are no outbreaks. Just subtle symptoms.Well here's the thing I've been having reoccuring yeast infections for over a year now. At least that's what i THINK they are. I've even been tested for yeast infections at the doctors a few times, and it always comes up positive. But I heard even doctors can mistaken herpes for Yeast infections. I don't have much itching or pain when I have yeast infections. In fact, practically no itching and definitely no pain. And I also don't have any odor, so I know its not bv bacterial vaginosis. And the strangest part is that there's not even usually a discharge anymore. The white, clumpy stuff kind of clings to the walls now, and I would have to put a finger inside to pull it out.If you have herpes, do you have these kinds of symptoms?IMPORTANT Whenever I use monistat or dyflucan or any other yeast infection medicine, the infection either doesn't go away or only goes away for a few days.

my vagina itches sometimes and than when i pee it is painful but this happens like once every month or two. my vagina looks clean though like theres nothing irregular about it. i even asked my sisters if it looks wierd they said no. whats the diff between herpes and a yeast infection. i have had the painful pee symptoms even when i was a virgin.

It's currently March. In September, I let a guy " finger" me. Not " real" fingering. EXCEPT...I haven't thrown up in 3 years. Ever. Well, about a month ago, I spent all weekend puking, and had a fever of over 102 for no reason. I didn't go to the doctor. But now it all seems to add together... but is it just a simple yeast infection? Or genital herpes or other std? I heard STDs don't show up for a long time after you engage in something sexual. Sooo, please help me. I'm 15, btw. I don't know what to do. The symptoms more match genital herpes. But the adult I told insists that it can't be that. But I don't agree. She said she'll take me to get checked out, but I wanna see what other people think first.Yeast infection, or genital herpes? Keep in mind my symptoms match herpes more than yeast infection. For about a month now i have been extremely " itchy" , I made a OB GYN appt but they are so booked that they couldn't see me for a couple weeks. I just dealt with it. A week or so ago I had sex with someone. We used protection. It was rough. He also gave me oral sex as well. Two days later i started my period and the day after i started to get a few " bumps" I just thought they were in grown hairs.Then a few days after that i started to get blisters. I have a watery filmy discharge, It doesn't smell at all. As far as the flu like symptoms my body doesn't ache. I always have back pain and headache's cause i was recently in a car accident. I went to planned parenthood because i am sick over this, every time i think that i could have GH i feel so sick to my stomach, The doctor said it looks like GH but she was going to test it just to make sure, I haven't gotten the results yet but she gave me some meds to help clear it. I read that for yeast infections put apple cider vinegar on the sores and it will " dry out" the infection. I did that and the " sores" seem to have dried out and " scabbed" its not like a crust like i have heard from GH. my whole vagina burns and itches. When i have the discharge it seems like it burns more and where ever it touches burns. My whole vagina is swallon and sore, especially my clitoris. I am hoping and praying i don't have GH and it is just a really bad yeast infection I only have blisters where it has been itching and i would also think that if the person i had sex with did have GH and gave it to me orally i would have blisters in my mouth or if it was genital GH i would have it on my " butt checks" from the position we had sex...

4 yrs ago i had an infection i think it was a yeast infection but i dont remember the itchiness like that i had blisters and swelling but after i got treated for it at the hospital it went away in a couple of days my doctor told me it looked like symptoms of GENITAL HERPES EEEKKK but im a virgin sooooo WTF?it was 4 yrs ago but im still wondering so wut do u guys think?

I had sex in beginning of November. 2 weeks ago I began to get itchy in my vagina and burning. There is also that discharge of a yeast infection. I looked and saw no sores bumps or anything on my vagina. I also don't feel sick or any flu symptoms which I saw is a herpes symptom. What could it be?

recently i have had some irritation in my vagina. the last time i had sex was roughly 2 weeks ago, and a few days ago i started getting a irritating, itching in only one side of my inner vaginal lips. it appears that there may be some blistering but i'm not to sure if that was there before or not. i havn't really had any weird dischargers or weird smells, so i was just wondering if maybe i just have some sort of a yeast infection or if it could possibly be herpes....any feedback would be wonderful, i am very nerves

I got my period last week and about 3 days into it, I woke up in the middle of the night with severe vaginal itching. These random bursts of itching lasted the next couple of days. The only way to surpress the irtch was to wear a tampon, not a pad. The skin of my vagina was tender and it felt uncomfortable when I urinated. However, the itching has gone down, but is still there. Another problem is that before my period I shaved my bikini area. So I also have razor burn and itching from the hair growing back in at least this is what usually happens when I shave . I'm not sure what this is and I would appreciate some advice. I have bought some anti itch cream. Thank you so much.

Herpes or Yeast Infection?
Recently I been very itchy in my whole vagina area. The itchiness moves around and I kind of have a burning feeling. I looked up symptoms on both and it seems like I have more symptoms for a yeast infection then herpes. First of all I have the yucky discharge of a yeast infection, white cottage cheese like. It burns and very very itchy. There is a little weird odor. The only symptom of herpes is itchness. I took a mirror and searched the whole inside of my vagina and everywhere and no bumps or sores or anything. I also don't feel sick at all like a fever or anything which I saw was another symptom of herpes. The last time I had sex was in the beginning of November. We used protection too. But the itchiness just started 2 weeks ago. What do you think it is?

About two weeks ago my labia were red and very very itchy, but with no bumps or blisters or anything.. then i got my period for three days and the symptoms completely disappeared in this time. then a day after my period ended i developed a rash between my anus and vagina, it is red and very dry with small red bumps kinda like a diaper rash and that has been there for over a week.. and then today it was just gone leaving just dry skin. it wasnt itchy or painful.. and i recently broke out in a rash on my arms and stomach too. does this sound like herpes? i am sexually active. I had a doctors appointment but i got a call saying he was sick so i had to reschedule for next week.... but im really scared

Almost a year ago I had sex for the first time. I am a guy. And Unlucky for me, she had Herpes. I only had sex with this woman twice, and she was on medication for herpes or so she said. and I wore a condom both times. We broke up and about 5 6 months later I had 2 white bumps on the underside of my penis right where the foreskin meets the head right ontop of some blood veins. From time to time I've noticed my penis will get very dryed out and has a bad smell even if I showered and washed it that day and it will have white sticky chunks on it that wipe off, no its not semen. These bumps have been there for about half a year. They don't and have never hurt. At the time I was on some antibacterial medication for pimples when I first noticed these bumps. I saw my doctor and he said they were a yeast infection, but all he did was look and I honestly think he's an idiot. He diagnosed my grandma's eczema on her ear as cancer. So I don't trust this guy. I've looked at a lot of pictures of herpes, but I've never seen them in the place I have mine nor do mine look as severe as the ones in the pictures and herpes isn't white like these bumps are either. Don't tell me to go get checked out either, because I don't have the time nor the money to. I just want to know if I probably do or do not have it because I really don't want to give it to anyone.BTW I've taken oral and topical medication for about a week and I couldn't get the bumps to go away.Cupcakie I would, but I don't have the time and I especially don't have the money to. When I did go in, I asked the doctor if I could have blood work done and he said it would show up negative unless I was having a breakout of herpes when they took the sample of blood.Carmen I've only slept with 2 women. The first one only had herpes and the second one was a virgin. There's no way it could be anything else.
